Code of Conduct

The values and behaviors that define how we work.

Revocare's code of conduct is a set of guidelines that outlines specific behaviors that our employees are required to uphold, demonstrate and apply in their way of work. Our code of conduct is the bedrock that defines us, identifies what we value and how we conduct ourselves.

Revocare's code of conduct is based on the following pillars:

  • We act with integrity and respect towards others.
  • We uphold the highest standards of professionalism in our workplace.
  • We interface with customers and the external world with the objective of achieving customer delight.
  • We assign high priority to privacy and confidentiality of information and data.

Our code of conduct comprises the following conduct behaviors:

1. Treat others with respect and humility

It is imperative that every employee extends professional and personal respect to fellow colleagues at all times and under all circumstances. This does not imply that you cannot professionally disagree with a colleague, or challenge a colleague or suggest an alternate solution. Rather in any of these situations, you are required to conduct yourself in an appropriate respectful manner and express your opinion professionally.

Be humble and practice the art of listening to your fellow colleagues and taking feedback. Reflect on what others tell you, and when required act proactively on the feedback in a positive manner.

2. Dare to think out-of-the-box

Leading organizations and high-performance teams have a non-linear thought process. In other words, don't be afraid to explore new ideas and practice creativity. Challenge the status quo to further improve the organization โ€” it's a continuous journey. Be self-aware and self-critical to further improve individually โ€” this also is a lifelong journey.

A critical behavioral attribute for the non-linear thought process to succeed is teamwork and inclusiveness. Leverage the exponential power of teamwork when excelling at something, finding solutions to a problem, or identifying areas of improvement. Solo flight will not take you far in Revocare, and always walking in the footsteps of others will prevent you from excelling.

3. Always maintain focus on the Purpose

It is imperative that you always remain cognizant of what Revocare is all about. We are committed to achieving customer delight by serving our customers in the best possible manner and becoming trusted advisors to them. You can only become a trusted advisor if you are sincere to the customer, competent at what you do, and proactive in your thought process and work.

This can only be achieved if we uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethics in all our professional dealings, always acting in the best interest of the customer, and constantly striving for professional excellence.

4. Be the voice of truth & integrity

Revocare takes inappropriate, unethical and/or unprofessional conduct very seriously and has zero tolerance for violation of ethics and integrity. Therefore, don't indulge in any wrongdoing, and if you see a colleague indulging in unprofessional or unethical conduct or behavior, immediately report it to whistleblower@revocares.com.

All reported incidents are thoroughly investigated. And confidentiality of the whistleblower is ensured and protected.

5. Ensuring adequate privacy and confidentiality

As a Revocare employee you will have access to sensitive company and customer information and data. It is your responsibility to ensure that there is no data breach or leak of customer or company sensitive information or data.

As an employee working in a medical billing company, you play a crucial role in upholding HIPAA's information and data privacy requirements. Your obligations include strictly adhering to the law's privacy and security regulations, which entail safeguarding patient health information (PHI) at all times. This involves maintaining confidentiality, ensuring the secure transmission of PHI, and only accessing patient data on a "need-to-know" basis. You must also follow your organization's policies and procedures for PHI protection, undergo training on HIPAA compliance, and report any potential breaches or security incidents promptly.

Refrain from sharing information and data with non-assignment-essential colleagues or people. If in doubt on what can be shared or with whom it can be shared, seek guidance from your manager.

It is the responsibility of every employee to abide by this code of conduct. Any violation of the code of conduct will be acted upon appropriately. And it is the responsibility of management to lead by example and create an organizational culture that is fully aligned with the code of conduct and provides psychological safety.
